Privacy Policy
UnmuteNow processes practice data to provide real-time conversation training and feedback. This page explains what is collected, how it is used, and how users can control their data.
1. Information We Collect
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials. During practice sessions, we process your voice input in real time to provide AI feedback. We also collect usage data such as session scores, completion rates, and feature interactions to improve your experience.
2. How We Use Your Data
We use your data to provide and personalize the UnmuteNow service, including AI-powered conversation practice, performance analytics, and progress tracking. We also use aggregated, anonymized data to improve our AI models and service quality. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
3. Voice & Conversation Data
Voice data is processed in real time during practice sessions to generate transcripts and feedback. Session transcripts and performance metrics may be stored in your account for progress tracking. To request deletion of your account and associated stored data, email privacy@unmutenow.ai. We do not use your individual voice recordings to train our AI models.
4. Cookies & Analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies (via Google Tag Manager, including Google Analytics and Google Ads) to analyze site usage, measure campaign effectiveness, and improve your experience. We do not sell your personal information. You can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings. Where local law requires prior consent — for example in the United Kingdom and the European Union — we ask for it with a cookie banner before any analytics or advertising cookie is set.
5. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, row-level security policies on all database tables, and secure authentication via proven providers. Access to your data is restricted to authorized systems only.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Anonymous trial sessions are automatically deleted after 25 hours. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. You may also have the right to object to or restrict certain processing activities. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at the email below.
8. Third-Party Services
We use third-party services including Google (authentication and analytics), AI model providers (for conversation processing), and cloud infrastructure providers (for hosting and storage). Each operates under their own privacy policies. We only share the minimum data necessary for these services to function.
9. Children's Privacy
UnmuteNow is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice on our website or sending you an email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
11. Contact Us
If you have questions about this privacy policy or your data, please contact us at privacy@unmutenow.ai.
