Terms of Service
These terms govern use of UnmuteNow, including accounts, AI-generated feedback, credits, subscriptions, acceptable use, and limitations of liability.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using UnmuteNow ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may modify these terms at any time, and your continued use constitutes acceptance of any changes.
2. Description of Service
UnmuteNow is an AI-powered communication training platform that allows users to practice conversations — including job interviews, business pitches, social interactions, and more — with an AI that responds in real time and provides performance feedback. The Service includes voice-based practice sessions, analytics, learning modules, and related features.
3. Accounts & Registration
To access most features, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
4. Credits & Premium Features
Practice sessions are governed by your plan allowance and do not consume credits. Credits are used separately for Sage responses and eligible AI extras. Unused credits do not carry over between billing periods unless otherwise stated. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose; (b) attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or exploit the AI systems; (c) use the Service to generate harmful, abusive, or harassing content; (d) share your account credentials with others; (e) use automated tools to access the Service beyond normal usage patterns.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, design, code, AI models, and materials on UnmuteNow are owned by us or our licensors. You retain ownership of any content you create (e.g., your practice session recordings and notes). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely for providing the Service.
7. AI-Generated Content
The AI feedback, scores, and suggestions provided by UnmuteNow are for educational and practice purposes only. They do not constitute professional advice (legal, medical, psychological, or otherwise). AI responses may occasionally be inaccurate or inappropriate. Use your own judgment.
8. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or engage in behavior that harms the Service or other users. You may request account deletion at any time by emailing privacy@unmutenow.ai. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, though we may retain anonymized data as permitted by our Privacy Policy.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, then binding arbitration or the courts of competent jurisdiction.
